In Kaunia subdistrict, Rangpur, members of a islamic group namely Islamic Chhatra Andolon brutally attacked peaceful Hindus and other minorities traveling to join the Rangpur protest for minority rights.
Islamic Chhatra Andolon forcibly removed Hindu minorities from buses, using violence to silence their voices. They attacked peaceful Hindus, leaving many bloodied and injured.
Bangladesh Army also seen pulling people from buses, further escalating fear and preventing them from reaching the protest.
We urgently appeal to the Bangladesh government to ensure the safety of minorities and take swift action against these attacks. Such violence and intimidation are a stain on justice and humanity.
To the international community: It’s time to intervene. These atrocities demand accountability, protection, and urgent global action to uphold minority rights.
